Spike Milligan R.I.P.

I suspect this is not true, but you never know...

Little known fact: Recently departed comedian Spike Milligan was in Life of Brian, but was NEVER on anyone's casting list. He appeared - out of the blue - where the film was being made in some far-off desert, and proceeded to wreak havoc on the entire film set. No filming was possible for 3 whole days, due to Mr Milligans antics, so the producers took the only course of action they could......

.......they stuck him in the movie!!

Spike played the part of the classic loner who gets bowled over by the masses in the crowd scene. He picks himself up, dusts himself off, just in time for the crowd to come back and bowl him over again. Classic stuff!!

Big Milligan fan. My Grandad requested a signed photo for me in 1986 and when I received it, I decided the only sensible thing to do was reply in like - to this day I believe Spike has two singed photos of mine in his posession. Or at least he would have, if he wasn't dead.
